Luxury Interior Design and Remodeling for the Discerning Client

A Castle Pines home built in 1994 was in need of an update.  The master bedroom had no formal entry.  It was simply a door from the hallway at the top of the stairs.  It also had several level changes that made no sense.  The his and hers closets were disproportionately sized.  The HIS closet was very small and the HERS closet was large.  There was no place to store luggage, linens, or off season clothing.  The master bath was like a dance floor.  There was a 15 foot by 15 foot space in the middle of the bath serving no purpose.  The L shaped vanity was an inefficient use of space.  The dark green granite and dark cherry cabinets showed their age.

MOTIF reconfigured the floor plan by first adding a large entry vestibule to the master suite.  The level changes were eliminated.  The two oddly sized closets were removed and instead a large HIS and HERS closet was added and appointed with beautiful custom cabinetry. In addition, a HIS and HERS vanity, a HIS and HERS shower, a dressing room with a custom framed floor to ceiling mirror, a chandelier, and an accessory storage cabinet for storing jewelry, scarves, gloves and watches was added.  A newly configured sitting area, adjacent to an existing fireplace created a comfortable place to read and relax.
